Art Gallery of Ontario : Senior Administrative Support to the Director of Education and Public Programming
The Art Gallery of Ontario is looking for a well-organized and focused individual to provide senior administrative support to the Director of Education and Public Programming.
This position is responsible for keeping people and projects on track. Responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating and attending meetings, drafting minutes and agendas, preparing correspondence, creating and establishing a secure and efficient filing system, and assisting with the management of a busy education division.
The Executive Assistant also oversees the Division's budget, including monthly review of expenditures and variances and coordinates all marketing and communication projects on behalf of the Division. Responsibilities include negotiating and monitoring production schedules and identifying story ideas for internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has highly developed administrative, organizational and communication skills that have been applied in a cultural or educational environment. Good decision-making, the ability to learn and respond quickly within a team environment is also required.
