CIAM STUDENT ALLOCATIONS
TRAVEL / PROJECTS

CIAM awards funding to students in the form of Student Allocations. These allocations are intended to facilitate experimentation with new media, the integration of new media into students' research projects, and the dissemination of graduate work that is innovative in the field of media arts.
Students enrolled in masters and doctoral programs at Concordia University, UQAM and the Université de Montréal are eligible to apply. The top Student Allocation Program’s priority is to fund thesis projects in the field of new media arts. Allocations may also be awarded to cover, in part or in full, travel costs related to the presentation of a student's work at an important event related to new media arts.
The maximum allocation for students enrolled in masters or doctoral degree programs is $2000.
Students enrolled in graduate certificate or DESS programs may receive a maximum of $1000.
